A HUGE bath with lovely bath products provided so you really could enjoy your stay and have a relaxing time. There were books and magazines everywhere which really added to the homely yet luxurious feel. There were so many little personal touches like vases of fresh flowers around the room, ground coffee with cafetiere and fresh milk, a selection of herbal teas and a tin of cookies. The rural location is wonderful, especially if you have been staying in cities all week, with the local pub/dining only a 20 minute walk away. It was luxurious while still being homely, everything was above and beyond what I expected. After a week of staying in budget chain hotels this felt like a little holiday. The owners were absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The Clock Tower was a hidden gem which I'm so glad I found.
